Overview
The Trainee - Talent Acquisition plays a crucial role in supporting the Talent Acquisition team by assisting in various recruitment activities. This role is vital in ensuring that we attracts and retains top talent to meet its business objectives. The Trainee - Talent Acquisition will have the opportunity to learn about full-cycle recruitment and gain hands-on experience in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates to join the client company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks)
- Participate in initial screening of resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions
- Help maintain candidate databases and update recruitment reports and metrics
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications for potential hires
- Learn and apply best practices in recruitment and HR processes
- Assist in organizing recruitment events and job fairs to attract potential candidates
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including managing email correspondence and calendar scheduling
- Learn to use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate applications and data efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Basic understanding of HR processes and recruitment principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
- Previous internship or work experience in HR or recruitment is a plus
