Position Summary

The Organization Development Specialist is responsible for providing organization development strategies for individual/team leadership development and change management to create and implement initiatives that connect employees with business goals as well as the planning and delivery of talent and/or organization development solutions. Successful candidate will have strong collaboration skills for continuous engagement with talent management colleagues across the enterprise to effectively meet customer requirements and implement programs.


This position offers a hybrid telework schedule with at least 3 days in the office per week in Reston, VA, Houston, TX, or Glendale, AZ.


Responsibilities

  • Delivers a broad scope of Organizational Development interventions that meet business objectives within their assigned region.
  • Delivers OD interventions that assist internal clients with department or function-wide transformation efforts.
  • Consults on and provides resources for interventions related to team effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment.
  • Conducts focus groups and interviews to support both Organizational Development and Talent Management programs as needed.
  • Coaches supervisors and leaders as needed.
  • Utilizes assessments and other diagnostic tools to analyze, assess, review, and improve individual or team performance.
  • Conducts 360 and Insights Discovery® debriefings as needed.
  • Assists with organizational design projects.


Qualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources, or related discipline with a minimum of 9 years related experience and demonstrated increasing responsibility over time or 15 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in internal consulting, coaching, effective presentation and facilitation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving Organization Development and Change Management initiatives.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  • Excellent communication, including facilitation skills.
  • Masters Degree in relevant field.
  • Ability to motivate others with high influencing skills.
  • Working knowledge of matrix organizational structure.
  • Professional HR, Change Management Coaching or related certifications.
  • Ability to travel 20 - 25%.
