Oracle DBA Specialist

Oracle DBA Specialist is responsible for maintaining and developing the Oracle database infrastructure for the organization.
The Responsibilities Of The Position Include

• Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software on servers.
• Creating and managing database objects such as tables, views, triggers, and indexes.
• Managing database security and access control.
• Monitoring database performance and tuning database parameters.
• Developing and implementing backup and recovery procedures to ensure data protection and availability.
• Managing database replication and implementing high availability solutions.
• Investigating and resolving database issues and problems.
• Planning and executing database maintenance activities, such as patches and upgrades.
• Collaborating with developers and system administrators to ensure database performance and availability.
• Participating in the design and development of database systems and applications.
• Providing on-call support for critical database issues outside of business hours.
  

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields and have significant experience in Oracle database administration. Strong experience in performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability solutions is required. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are also essential.
