Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher.
Roles and Responsibilities
10+ Years of Total Experience and 6+ years’ of revelent experience in a Cloud Infrastructure Admin OCI and Oracle Database
• Administrating OIC, ATP, DBVM and Fusion ERP/HCM/EPM Services
• Provisioning Oracle ATP ADW Autonomous Data Guard.
• Used IDCS for OCI authentication.
• Created IGW/NGW for public/private subnets and SGW for object storage.
• Usage Monitoring of OCI Services, Auto Scaling and Message packs consumption of Universal Credits
• Configuring and Managing OCI Compartments and Provisioning services across Availability and Fault Domains.
• Hands on experience in writing and modifying Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and for managing OCI Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of best practices for Development Lifecyle for Dev, Test, UAT and Prod Services.
• Knowledge and ability to provision Network Security Groups and Public Load Balancer provisioning.
• Experience with using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with CI/CD using Git, Jenkins
• Experience in Devops role
• Terraform Scripts knowledge.
• The OCI Administrator and DBA will work closely with many teams, including System Administrators, Software Development, Network Security to support PaaS/IaaS/SaaS.
• Manage Backup and DR Strategies using Object Storage, Oracle Manages Backups and Autonomous Data Guard.
• Support the lifecycle management of business-critical applications to include installing patches, performing upgrades, managing releases, and administration tasks.
• Manage Network and user Security groups, IAM and compartments.
• Configure, Manage, Audit and Alert on the Security of the OCI environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding and Strong experience on Oracle Database physical designing.
• Good understanding on various objects and storage requirements for optimal performance in physical designing
• Good knowledge and experience in designing, troubleshooting Oracle HA (like RAC, DG)
• Good experience in replication including Golden Gate/Shareplex along with Oracle Streams
• Strong knowledge in Database security and encryption
• Strong performance troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience on performance tuning and problem solving
• Strong knowledge on DB objects including PL/SQL objects
• Database architecture extensive knowledge
• Analysing DB Performance KPI and reporting
• Quick in providing alternate solutions during problem solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Self-motivated and adher to defined process in environment
• Ownership of work and individual contributor.
• Team player
• Excellent monitoring and team management skills.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in additional/other RDBMS like MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle on OCI cloud.
