Role : Customer Associate (Chat Process)
As a Customer Associate at Lumen you will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience to our valued customers. This exciting opportunity will allow you exercise your excellent sales and service skills while growing within a leading technology company.
The position is responsible for fielding inbound online chats and calls from potential and existing customers, resolving complex questions, solving issues, and selling CenturyLink products and services as solutions for customer's communication, technology, and entertainment needs.
The role includes establishing new accounts in the billing system, providing Customer Service and solutions to problems, handling credit inquiries, resolving customer complaints, explaining technical solutions, and asking discovery questions to understand needs.
Minimum Qualifications
•Minimum 2 years to Maximum 5 years experience. Only international Chat experience considered, any domestic experience will be non relevant. Customer-facing or sales environment, experience handling primarily calls and chat.
•Exemplary oral and written communications / comprehension skills in English.
•Background in a customer focused or problem solving environment
Promotes and sells products and services to customers
•Ability to work independently across different shifts, without direct, onsite supervision
•Proficient in working with several computer applications and databases, managing through multiple systems programs and screens simultaneously
•Strong customer focus, problem solving skills, and time management skills
•Experience in complaint handling and resolution
•Ability to meet and exceed monthly performance targets
•Proficient PC Windows-based computer skills. Experience in Microsoft Suite of products
•Minimum typing speed 35+ WPM
