What you will be doing? (Your key responsibilities):
- Identifying key vendors for sourcing and manufacturing, negotiating commercials, and collaborating with them on final product development.
- Working closely with the procurement team to understand customer and supplier pain points, driving constant reinvention of the New Product redevelopment strategy.
- Driving the implementation of processes essential for fit and finish, considering probable variations in the manufacturing process and obtaining QA and R&D sample approvals.
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of insights and information on products, suppliers, potential target customers, product research, and relevant documents.
- Understanding the sources of ingredients used by manufacturers.
- Assisting the marketing and branding team by providing technical knowledge of the product, including mechanisms of action, strengths, precautions, expected efficacy, and conditions.
- Continuously staying in touch with the customer support team to gather product feedback from existing customers on efficacy, usage, and reactions, and using this to drive continuous product improvement based on the voice of the customer.
- Assisting with cost-saving projects and making necessary changes to existing formulations according to quality and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing inventory activities, including materials monitoring, requisitioning, and maintaining supply levels by stocking or restocking.
