Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities will be to write and execute testcases and device automation.
- Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
- Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
- Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
- Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.
- Has ability to withstand pressure without diluting Testing processes.
- In case of emergency take charge of the situation, coordinate with stakeholders.
- Should be able to optimize & effectively manage time.
- Should be able to identify, track and mitigate risks to the product.
- Should be able to work in close collaboration with Product Engineering teams.
- Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product.
- Make sure the product automation is always running with the latest guidelines and features.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
The Engineer must have a good understanding of Camera technologies and experience with automation - c/c++ programming and/or python programming
Required Qualifications:
At-least 2+ years experience in below areas..
· Experience working with and testing applications on Windows
· Responsible for Camera end to end validation, Test plan/Strategy, Report generation, team development, tool development.
. Responsible for scripting and developing automated test environment for validation of Camera sub-system.
. Strong knowledge with hands-on experience on Camera Image pipeline/basics such as 3A(Focus, White balance and exposure), HDR, ISO, EV, Image Stabilization etc.,
. Work experience on Image Signal Processor (ISP) tuning validation for achieving best image quality.
. Work experience requires interaction with senior leadership and sharing the reports regularly.
. Familiar with multimedia (Camera Domain) validation, performance testing, Camera 3A Quality testing.
. Strong PC technology background and familiar with ARM based system, CPU/GPU products, different industry interfaces (PCIE, USB, Memory, Display, etc), system features, power management, etc.
· Thorough knowledge of various types of testing including performance, stress, functional, quality testing
· Experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation methodologies.
· Expert in C/C++/Python programming
· Versioning Tool Knowledge of Git, Perforce.
· Outstanding problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and team working skills.
· Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected
· Proven experience in Test Automation development, source code management, continuous integration, and script programming, test framework development.
. Must have White box testing experience on Desktop along with test coding experience
Preferred additional qualifications:
· Experience in Windows Multimedia / Windows on Snapdragon software
. Knowledge of Computer vision, Deep learning and Machine Learning would be a major plus.
