Responsibilities:The candidate will primarily be responsible for establishing the brand, opening new Ad Sales opportunities across India and generating new businesses from Government sector/ PSUsHandling and monitoring submission of bids/ proposalsNegotiate and pitch specifications and value proposition in pre- bid meetingsLiaising with central and state government entities, local bodies, municipal corporations, agencies, etcSuccessfully forecast and drive achievement of revenue streamsEnsuring a healthy funnel for the business at any point in time.Identify, develop, pitch and execute new business development initiativesThe candidate is expected to have a good understanding of policies and key drivers for the governmentYou would be required to travel on an occasional basis depending on the work requirements
Requirements:5-10 years experience of handling Government Ad Sales in digital news publisher with minimum of 3 years experience in a digital platform with a track record of successfully managing client relations, negotiating and closing dealExcellent contact with various Govt Sector/PSU bodies and boardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate and drive results through government officialsAbility to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic market environment.
