Job Description: The role will be responsible for leading the Financial Planning, analysis, and reporting functions with a specific focus on financial ratio analysis and financial performance indicators including industry benchmarking. This role requires a deep understanding of financial metrics and their implications for the hospital's operations and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Ratio Analysis: Lead the analysis of financial ratios such as liquidity, profitability, returns, efficiency, and solvency ratios to assess the hospital's financial health and performance.
2. Financial Performance Indicators: Oversee the monitoring and analysis of key financial performance indicators, including but not limited to revenue cycle metrics, operating margins, return on investment, and cost per case.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in Developing and managing the hospital's budgets, working closely with department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Utilize financial indicators to forecast future financial performance.
4. Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and offering insights to senior management and stakeholders.
5. Strategic Financial Guidance: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- CA or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in financial analysis within a healthcare/hospital setting, with a strong focus on financial ratio analysis and performance indicators.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis tools, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
