Broad outline of the Role
- Responsible for end-to-end deployment of Sustainability and Environmental initiatives action strategy. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the business.
Minimum qualification & experience
- Science / Engineering graduate with certification or degree in Environmental science / Sustainability management or relevant experience in sustainability reporting
- 2-7 yrs. relevant work experience
Other knowledge/skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and resourcefulness in executing engagement plans and communication campaigns.
- Understanding of GRI, CDP, DJSI and other
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate engagement with internal partners across the business to gather, substantiate and disclose key Sustainability and Environmental related data points with the goal of ensuring synergies across the relevant frameworks including GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
- Co-anchor annual sustainability reporting process (SD Report) based on GRI standards in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and review functional teams on resource management initiatives- Water, Waste, Carbon, and Air emission reduction.
- Manage companys sustainability assessments like ECOVADIS, MSCI, DJSI and CDP.
- Manage companys strategic sustainability initiatives and awards assessments.
- Propose initiatives to address the Sustainability and Environmental risks and their potential impacts.
- Support rolling out of appropriate Environment safety and governance practices and systems (Policies, Process, Procedures and Guides) and supporting functional teams in implementation.
- Managing events and building awareness of the plan and practices
