The Global Shares and Workplace Solutions teams are part of a cutting-edge FinTech business within JPMorgan's Asset and Wealth Management division. This strategic initiative focuses on catering to the financial service needs of both public and private companies by offering comprehensive solutions that help employees achieve their financial goals. Our solutions help employees achieve their financials goals by combining the Stock Plan administration capabilities of our new acquisition Global Shares, retail banking services by Chase, Cap Table, Wealth Management offering, and Financial Wellness. This in-house FinTech is a Digital Platform that is modern, easy to use and consume available on the web and mobile devices.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of an innovative digital platform that integrates stock plan administration capabilities from Global Shares, retail banking services provided by Chase, Wealth Management offerings, and Financial Wellness programs. Our user-friendly FinTech platform within the bank is accessible via web and mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
We are looking for hands-on software professionals who are eager to be part of a global team of high-performing engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Building out the platform using public cloud technology
- Developing high-performance UI solutions
- Implementing microservices architecture
- Creating data models
- Managing large-scale data

Job Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to run initiatives in partnership with global teams.
- Drive the strategy of the team and work with counterparts across other regions.
- Understand the bigger picture of the problem and facilitate strategic discussions.
- Think of various scenarios and discuss with the business on providing a solution.
- Develop secure high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
- Understand requirements, technical design and ask the right questions to be able to come up with good quality solution.
- Identify problems and escalate in a timely manner along with proposed solutions.
- Suggest and prototype new designs and ideas to solve problems.
- Guide juniors in the team and have an open communication with stakeholders.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and experiment with possibility of applying to our daily work to improve efficiencies.

- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience, Bachelor’s degree required
- .Net Core 6, SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ, Docker, CQRS
- Unit and integration tests, Angular 2+ (RxJS, operators, observables, form validation, lazy loading) and Typescript, Experience with responsiveness, SCSS/ SASS/ LESS, REST APIs, including Web API and OpenAPI/ Swagger
- Web workers, Internationalization, Websockets, Experience with automated testing with Karma and Jasmine or similar
- Independent and self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exposure to cloud technologies
