AddressJob Title: Lead/Senior Software engineer
A JavaScript developer is responsible for implementing the front-end logic that defines the behavior of the visual elements of a web application. A JavaScript developer is also responsible for connecting this with the services that reside on the back-end. They are usually supported by back-end web developers, who are responsible for server-side application logic.
In particular, iBASEt is looking for someone with the following skills:
- Substantial experience and demonstrated ability in the following technologies:
o JavaScript, its quirks and workarounds (8+ years of working experience)
o Advanced JavaScript libraries, frameworks and tools such as React, Redux, Mongo, Node, npm, JEST, Mocha, Sinon, Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, Browserify, ES6 etc.
o Building responsive Single Page Applications using REFTful web services and processing JSON data
o Asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX
o Capable of taking lead in the Project
o Web markup including HTML5 and CSS3
o Front end development tools
o Code versioning tools like Git and SVN
- Should be capable of leading the team and manage them
- Working knowledge of the following area is nice to have:
o Java, Spring boot, hibernate
o JSON and REST patterns
o Integrating enterprise software systems via JSON and REST services
o Microservices
o HTTP request/response protocol
o XML and XSLT
o Basic understanding of computer network and its components
o Cloud-based technologies
o Automation tools like Docker, Chef, Puppet
o Agile Experience (Scrum, Kanban)
o Work experience in 3-tier architectures environment consisting of front-end clients, middle-tier servers, and database back-ends.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Can clearly communicate key points with a variety of audiences – both technical and non-technical – including executive staff, sales personnel, partner organizations, end customers, product management, development engineering and quality assurance. Able to convey key technical points quickly and clearly and also go into depth as needed.
Education:
- A bachelor's higher-level degree in Computer / IT is necessary with minimum good academic’s background. Proficiency in English is required.
Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility.
- May require some light to physical effort.
- Usual office working conditions.
- Regular teleconferences with HQ teammates outside normal business hours.
- Occasional travel to iBASEt HQ in California, USA is a possibility.
