Broad outline of the Role
- Strong understanding of OSI, TCP/IP Model, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, STP, LACP.
- Detailed understanding and working knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
- Working knowledge of MPLS-VPNs (L3 and L2 VPNs), IPsec and SSL VPNs , QOS, Wireless communication, load balancing/sharing techniques.
- Excellent (enterprise) customers handling and communication skills, presentation and technical write-up skills.
- Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same
- Planning, designing, and creating supporting documentation upgrades and increased network security
- Simulating live network topology in lab and troubleshooting issues.
- Enterprise customers escalations management and interaction for troubleshooting and handling of issues.
- Capacity to train and guide junior team members.
- Take part in troubleshooting calls at any point of time in case of Major incidents and provide artifacts based on analysis.
- Implementing upgrades to hardware and software as needed.
- Extensive experience in high availability design and skills.
- Experience in WAN optimizing solution from different technology vendors.
- Good experiences in Cisco routers ASR, ISR, Catalyst Series.
- Handling of 24*7 shift operations.
- Awareness and basic hands-on NMS, ITSM tools.

Minimum qualification & experience
- Graduate( BE , B.Tech )MCA with 4-7 years of experience
Other knowledge/skills
- Good knowledge on implementation, installation, integration troubleshooting and overall functionalities
- Experience in troubleshooting platform related issues, data backup, restoration, retention
- Maintains awareness of latest technologies in the domain
