Junior Shop Manager 1 Quality
Description
Assists Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitor materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; maintains and supports documentation and records. Works under moderate supervision.
Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality).
Records results and prepares simple technical reports.
Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment.
Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data.
Participates in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results.
Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of the measurement and test equipment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Monitoring & Driving rejection and rework PPM on daily basis.
PDI for Machine shop parts & ensure no NC part should pass to internal as well as external customer.
Resolution of Internal / External Customer Complaints.
Conduct Capability Studies and gauge R&R Studies as per Plan and Drive /Support for Capability improvement projects.
Maintain SPC Units (Q-Das) for all Critical and Major Characteristics which are in Risk level III & IV.
Completion of schedule audit as per plan & drive corrective / preventative actions on reported non-conformities.
Monitoring and reporting Supplier rejection PPM and coordinating with SQI for Corrective / preventative actions
Coordination of PPAP documentation for any New Part introduction / Change in Current Part Process, Tooling etc.
Initiate Line stoppage and Q1 meeting for any Non-Conformance / Customer complaint.
Implementation of New Ideas / Housekeeping through Kaizen and 5s.
Review Safety Risk Assessment with respect to Quality functions processes.
Timely Disposition of Non-Conforming material and comply with system.
