The ATS org of IT provides software and services across multiple business groups like Portfolio Constructions, Investment Trading and Oversight, Investment Research and Enterprise functions of Regulatory, Compliance, Finance, Billing, etc. As one of the Delivery Manager of ATS, India IT you will lead a mid to large size organization ensuring the successful execution of projects and program milestones delivered from India with efficiency and quality, drive innovation, staff, mentor and coach the employee and execute the OKRs of the organization. This role plays a pivotal role in shaping India global hub to be the Tech Center of SSGA Key Responsibilities include: Leadership and People: Provide strong leadership to the teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. Develop an ownership mindset and bring accountability in the day-to-day job of the team. Set performance priorities, provide mentoring and appropriate feedback, conduct performance appraisals, build and retain performers. Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with the global leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy roadmap aligned with the company's overall goals. Translate business objectives into actionable engineering plans and roadmaps. Delivery Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all the projects and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standard. Effectively manage resources and risks and make data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes. Service Delivery: Foster innovation and efficiency in BAU and promote metrics driven culture. You would collaborate to develop a Follow The Sun model for service delivery (production support) aligned with ITIL framework. Operating Model: Collaborate with stakeholders, peers across the globe to define and continuously refine the operating model for services, projects and any other initiatives Engineering Excellence: Drive engineering best practices, quality assurance, and code review processes to maintain a high level of engineering excellence and ensure scalable and maintainable software solutions. Identify opportunities for innovation and propose technology-driven solutions to business challenges. Talent Acquisition and Development: Participate in the recruitment process to attract top engineering talent. Develop and nurture a skilled and motivated team, providing coaching, training, and professional growth opportunities. Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements, evaluate new technologies, and make informed recommendations to improve product performance and efficiency. Budget and Capacity Planning: Collaborate with the executive team in defining the engineering budget and effectively allocate resources to maximize productivity and deliver results in a cost-effective manner. Risk, Regulatory & Compliance: Identify potential technical risks and challenges in projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure that engineering practices align with industry standards, data security protocols, and regulatory requirements. Desired Skills & Experience A minimum of B.E/BTech degree in Computer Science or related field A minimum of 20 yrs experience in the Industry Experienced in leadership role in global financial organizations that has offices in India Experienced in working with global stakeholders and teams Ability to staff, lead and manage medium to large size org Ability to work with outsourcing partner for deliverables Proficient communication skills - both verbal and written Participation in shaping Diversity & Inclusion efforts for a global organization PMP-PMI (good to have) ITIL (good to have)
