Position Summary
- This is an analyst role in a Private Equity backed by one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world.
- You will be responsible for assisting the Director of Investments and his team in deal analysis, investment process, preparation of material for our investors and senior management of the Fund and subsequent asset management.
- The position requires 1 to 3 years of experience in financial modelling and investor memorandums / presentations.
Position Details
- Prepare and maintain detailed excel models for individual deals and overall Fund portfolio.
- Prepare materials along with the Investments Team and present to Company's Investment Committee.
- Assist in preparing reports to Company's investment partners for quarterly reporting.
- Conduct due diligence activities involving market analysis, shopping market competitors.
- Research and analyse appropriate markets for acquisition of retail properties or retail-led mixed-use properties.
- Gain good understanding of those markets to be able to capitalize on opportunities in those markets.
- Participate in various analytical projects required in the Investment Management Group from time to time.
- Arrange third party reports such as market studies, cost estimates, financial and tax analysis.
- Develop operating and capital budgets for assets that our owned or that are targeted for investments.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with all basic mathematical concepts and basic financial concepts such as the time value of money (present values, future values, internal rates of return).
Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Qualification Tier-1 schools only (undergrads need to have min 3-year work-ex)
Overall Experience 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience and/or training desired, but not required
Type of industry Experience in a Real estate industry will be preferred.
Essential Experience 3 to 5 years of post qualification relevant industry experience.
