Role Overview: As an intern in our marketing department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital footprint and engaging our audience through compelling content. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Content Creation within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Backlinking Activity: Assist in developing and executing backlink strategies to enhance our website's SEO. This includes researching potential backlink opportunities, reaching out to relevant sites, and tracking the success of these efforts.
- Blog Posting: Contribute to our blog by writing engaging and informative posts that align with our content strategy. You will participate in brainstorming sessions, conduct research on industry-related topics, and ensure all blog content is optimized for search engines.
- Content Creation: Help craft various forms of content, including, but not limited to, social media posts, blogs, etc. This will involve creativity, research, and adapting your writing style to match our brand voice.
- Desktop Research: Conduct comprehensive online research to gather data on competitors, market trends and potential business opportunities. Utilize databases, academic journals, industry reports, and reputable news sources to collect relevant information. Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights, presenting them in a clear and concise manner.
- Helping in collaborating in internal tasks: Collaborating on internal tasks involves working alongside team members on various projects and daily operations within the organization.
- Helping in scheduling/maintaining social media handles: Scheduling and maintaining social media handles involves managing the company's presence on various social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Candidate with experience in software solutions/ product will be a plus
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce creative and original content.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and Digital Marketing strategies will be a plus.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Excellent research and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
