We are looking to expand our Cloud Platform Operations competency team with the addition of an experienced Cloud Engineer with Backup and Storage expertise.
What you will do
Be responsible for backup solutions architecture, deployment, and operations in complex enterprise environments, conduct consultative engagements, in a lead consultant or team member role with clients to ensure delivery of services.
You will bring
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and management in complex enterprise environments. As a Cloud Engineer specializing in Backup and Storage, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Solution Architecture:
Provide consulting services in the backup domain across the organization.
Conduct assessments and recommend innovative ideas for Data Protection solutions.
Implementation and Migration:
Lead or participate in implementation and migration services for Rubrik Security Cloud.
Design backup flows and deploy Rubrik cloud clusters in AWS, Azure or on-prem infrastructure.
Protect customer data by applying best security practices and leading upgrades and expansions of physical appliances.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate proficiency in technologies such as Rubrik CDM, AWS, VEEAM, and Microsoft Azure.
Handle backup and restoration tasks for various workloads, including SAP, MSSQL, Oracle, VM, and file systems.
Configure replication between Rubrik clusters for disaster recovery purposes.
Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution:
Act as the first point of contact for all backup-related issues/queries.
Troubleshoot errors in case backups are not completed successfully and provide timely resolution.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering subject area from an accredited university
Relevant certifications in - Microsoft Azure, AWS, Rubrik Certified Implementation Engineer
Certification in additional cloud platform (GCP) is desirable.
Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
Strong client facing skills – mature presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communications to optimally communicate highly complex ideas and concepts to non-technical peers.
