The Role and What You'll Do:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our HR Analytics Data Science efforts and help deliver on HR strategy and objectives. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our platform by applying advanced Data Science techniques to improve personalization features, developing predictive models, and cutting-edge AI/ML-based recommendation systems, and working with NLP models to develop Text Sentiment Topic Model on unstructured data.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise advanced statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights from diverse datasets related to the employee life cycle.
- Develop predictive models to forecast future talent needs, and attrition rates, and identify potential recruitment challenges.
- Working knowledge of managing and analyzing structured and unstructured, to drive analytics including a sound understanding of ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) methodologies, and data modeling best practices.
- Develop Scalable machine learning, and NLP solutions on topics such as talent acquisition, talent management, attrition, and more to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Deep analysis of HR data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, providing insights into workforce metrics, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.
- Utilize advanced data visualization tools and programming languages to create innovative and informative visualizations.
- Serve as an active participant on cross-functional project teams and provide guidance and training to teams in asking meaningful questions, interpreting data, and taking action.
- Support the HR Analytics Leader on internal AI/ML-related projects for HR Digital Transformation
Note: While experience working with HR-related data sets is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
The ideal candidate to have:
- Bachelor's degree required (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or STEM fields preferred)
- 3+ years of analytics, consulting, and Data Science experience, preferably in HR Analytics
- Deep technical, hands-on experience in Python/R and SQL
- Familiar with LDA modeling using TensorFlow.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable, collaborative, organized, and able to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive data.
- A strong understanding of HR strategy and systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of Success Factors SAC Analytics & Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
