Reports to - Manager HR -compliance

Job Purpose

The role of the associate compliance HR is to stay updated on the regulatory policies and processes so that s/he can assist the compliance manager in ensuring that the company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. The compliance team is also responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects, at all levels (including contractual employees / third party employees and as principal employer), as well as responsible for providing guidance on all compliance matters.

Job Outline

The incumbent is responsible for all activities which are under the labor law and scrutinized by the Government. The incumbent needs to be well versed with laws at both the campus locations. The job shall include:

- Collaborating with the legal department to communicate the associated requirements with every applicable HR-based regulatory and legal and compliance training programs.

- Getting updates on every employee-based regulatory and legislative changes and/or modifications and ensuring that developments in rules and policies are restructured with HR practices, articles, policies, and systems.

- Researching changes in rules and regulations, analyzing their effect on the company, and communicating findings to the Compliance Manager HR.

- It is also the role of the associate in compliance to draft procedures, processes, and policies to facilitate a better compliance stance in the School.

- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of compliance-based communications and training to employees along with the Manager Compliance HR.

- Conduct employee-related investigations as directed by Compliance Manager HR.

- Handling sensitive employee data or reports in a discreet manner

- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.

- File appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies

- Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed

- Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the impact of these changes on organizational processes.

Develops and directs strategies within the school's framework that shall ensure that the School (both campuses) stand compliant. The incumbent shall create a handbook / reference guide to ensure that all employees are on the same page and update it regularly. This document is very important because it is a communications tool that will clearly outline your organization's policies and procedures, as well as how business should be conducted. This document should be reviewed by your legal counsel before it is distributed through, as it outlines exactly what an employee should do in any given situation.

Job Specification

Knowledge / Education

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Post-Graduation in Human Resource Management.

Skills

  1. Knowledge of National, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  3. Strong experience in Employees Grievance Handling.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience - 2 years of experience in HR preferably in a Compliance Role
