Address- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design and implement new features, and troubleshoot issues in existing applications
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Ruby on Rails framework
- Write and maintain comprehensive test suites to ensure the quality and stability of the software
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Active participation in utilizing AWS services including EC2, RDS, Lambda, ALB, and configuring security measures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5-6 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Strong knowledge of Ruby language and Ruby on Rails framework
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficient in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular
