The Head of Project Management has to strategize, manage and drive multiple projects in the formulation of commercial, contracting, planning, integration, governance and regulatory requirements.
- Supervising Project activities and handling the complete Project Management Cycle (concept to commissioning) entailing Developing project baselines and controlling project costs, resource deployment, time over-runs, quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
- Develop and drive the strategies for Project Management plan & activities centered on HSSE, quality, operability, schedule and costs via Project Management skills, engineering practices, technology, digital & data application to deliver project objective and stakeholder expectation
- Lead for project execution and project development as per the approved Project Management plan
- Lead for IPP bidding, PPA negotiations, EPC tendering
- Lead for the development of project assurance, methodology, standards, process, and tools/software
- Accomplish Projects by using various management portfolios viz. Pre-bid Risk Assessment, Project Reviews & Reports, Project Risk Management, Time Management, Contract Management, Integration Management, New Set-ups, Progress Analysis, Issue Management, Process Control, Document Management, Cost & Cycle Time Reduction, Financial Management, Project Dashboard, Presentation. Demonstrate excellence in setting priorities
- Lead on securing all permits and approval for land rights, interconnection facility rights, building rights, etc. under state or local requirement
- Manage project risks by continuously identifying risk events and evaluate/propose appropriate mitigation to safeguard stakeholder's expectation
- Integrate administrative close out (including AFE closure, manpower demobilization, etc.), procurement contracts closure and facilities handover for satisfactory acceptance by end user
- Lead implementation of stakeholder management including Statutory Bodies/Authorities
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is mandatory with more than 10-15 years of work experience
- Any professional qualification such as PMP, RMP, Chartered Engineer, etc. would be an added advantage
- Has on the ground and hands on experience of managing integrated multi-dimensional projects
- Experience in managing Renewable Energy Projects (Solar, Wind, Energy System) from project development until project delivery for a Developer/EPC
- Experience in technical consultancy/advisory is an added advantage
- Has working knowledge of the renewable energy industry and the latest technologies
