Job description

The role holder would be responsible for leading and empowering a dynamic sales team to achieve exceptional results, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. The role holder would also be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and nurturing client relationships in the specified Markets.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategy

Providing direction to achieve the desired long-term and short-term objectives.


  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth in the US market.
  • Maintain relationship with key strategic accounts in US market.
  • Set ambitious revenue targets and create comprehensive sales plans to achieve them
  • Identify market segments, customer profiles, and product offerings that have the most growth potential.


Operations

Executing the strategies to achieve the business goals.

  • Implement effective credit and collections policies to reduce DSO and improve cash flow.
  • Define standard lead times for processing customer purchase orders to sales orders and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies to expand the customer base in the US.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers in the US market.



Key Performance Indicators:

  • Revenue Growth from US territory sales
  • Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Customer PO to SO punching lead time (standard vs actual)
  • Number of new customers onboarded in US Market


Qualifications

  • BA/BBA in business, marketing, or a related field
  • MBA/PGDM in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership


Skills and Competencies

  • Proven leadership experience in sales or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the US market and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools.
