Job Description: Designation : Graduate Engineer Trainee Reporting to : Lead Engineer Location : Bangalore, Full Time Qualification : B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering Experience : Fresh graduates from 2022 or 2023 passed out batch only without backlogs Position Overview: Marmon GIC is looking for motivated fresh Mechanical Engineers. In this role, you will be given exposure to work with various departments like Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering & Quality inspection etc.Key Responsibilities / Functions: Willing to learn new skills Work with Engineering / R& D to assist, research and communicate in the development of supply requirements of new parts and materials. Market research and identify potential suppliers for new projects Follow up development project with suppliers and ensure on time parts supply On-time project delivery while upholding utmost technical and quality standards Must represent a professional, respectful, and courteous manner when interacting with all levelsof managers, subordinates, and suppliers. Teamwork skills and both written and verbal communication skills are critical. Need to co-ordinate and execute tasks in global environment Preferred Qualifications ( Education, Technical Skills & Knowledge ) : Good understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Drawing, Mechanics, Manufacturing Process & good knowledge in metallurgy ) Exposure to CAD software like SolidWorks will be an advantage Exposure to manufacturing environment is an advantage Ability to execute & deliver given tasks within agreed time and with quality Good English communication skill, both written & verbal Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office Tools namely Excel, Word & PowerPoint Personal and desired characteristics : Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering subjects Strong desire in learning new technologies Sourcing tools and manufacturing process Goal oriented Self-motivated and team oriented Curious nature & Self-starter who can work under minimal guidance/supervision Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities Ability & willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally when require
