- Perform shift opening and closing procedures
- Review daily arrivals and departures to ensure proper handling of Special Guests, VIP Guests and Groups.
- Ensure rooms are checked prior to guest's check-in to ensure they are clean, properly equipped and in a high standard of maintenance.
- Greet guests on arrival and conduct check-in and registration procedures in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible.
- Escort guest accordingly throughout the retreat.
- Knowledge on room rates and suggesting upselling when necessary.
- Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, ensure that all guest billing procedures are handled correctly, minimizing rebates during check out and bid guest farewell.
- Maintain imprest and floating cash assigned by the retreat. Make change, cash checks, and exchange foreign currency. Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift
- Maintain efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time.
- Adhere to all SOPs and ensure team follows in respective shifts
- Handle guest feedbacks, inquiries, and comments. Log them and initiate appropriate action and follow up.
- Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Prepare all arrival amenities such as welcome letter, shoe bag, cold towels and welcome drinks.
- Collect any information about special dietary requests, allergies or other safety conditions and coordinate with chef to meet guests at meals.
- Recommend, plan, schedule and make arrangement with guests for their preferred activities during the stay.
- Check all information on registration card and cross check with correspondence for accuracy and all guest documents are filled, registered and confirmed by the retreat management.
- Coordinate guest requirements with other departments and follow up to ensure all queries are handled to maximum satisfaction.
- Understand how to process payments via multiple sources and close accounts and convert money accordingly through foreign currency exchange.
- Ensure different food service meals are delivered according with retreat guidelines.
- Knowledge of different types of treatments at Six Senses Spa and assist on making any bookings.
- Knowledge of all Six Senses properties.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
- Ensure the privacy of guests, partners and residential owners, I will apply an extra level of protection to any sensitive personal data and use confidential information only to perform my job.
- Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA standards.
- Perform any additional tasks given by supervisor/management.
- Keep track of the par stock of daily stationaries and guest supplies.
- Prepare all records like A&D, Shift checklists for the shift
- Drive the battery operated buggy safely
- Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
