Job Title: React Front-End Lead / Module Lead
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Work from Office
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced React Front-End Developer to join our team and take charge of leading the development and implementation of key modules or features within our React-based applications. As a lead, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, overseeing the development process, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead a team of developers working on the assigned module or feature. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code. Provide mentorship and support for the professional growth of team members.
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and performance. Collaborate with QA engineers to define test plans and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables. Break down complex features into manageable tasks, estimate effort, and provide technical insights for project planning.
- Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to the team in problem-solving and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies and ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and across other teams or stakeholders. Clearly articulate technical requirements, project progress, and potential risks to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in React and front-end development. Identify opportunities for process improvements, tooling enhancements, and automation to optimize development workflows.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of architectural designs, APIs, and usage guidelines. Document technical decisions and contribute to the overall documentation of the codebase.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in React Native and front-end development, with a proven track record of leading the development of complex applications or modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
- Experience with architectural design and implementation of scalable and maintainable React applications.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and version control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentorship and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Additional experience with backend technologies, such as Node.js or server-side frameworks, is a plus
