Job description

This is a Finance Data Analyst role that helps FP&A, Risk stakeholders with the Capital Planning and Regulatory reporting of CCAR which is a quarterly exercise by the US Federal Reserve to assess whether the US based multi-national banks have sufficient capital to perform operations during financial and Economic stress conditions.

Responsibilities

- Key member of the Model onboarding team that manages Citigroup's forecasting and planning platform - RUBY.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Statistical Modelling teams by collecting business requirements for Model implementation in RUBY.
  • Ensure delivery of model outputs that are in line with the expectation of stakeholders.
  • Work towards building meaningful analytical views on the platform that enable Finance and Risk take proper measures and decisions in their respective Citi businesses.
  • End to end product ownership of Citi's forecasting platform.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Contributes to the global implementation of common data and data standards, common processes and integrated technology platforms.
  • Participates in creating effective and efficient processes and governance.
  • Assists in enabling a foundational reporting infrastructure across Citi businesses and global functions by ensuring consistency within Finance and Risk

Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have a BE/B.Tech and MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree.
  • Around 8-10 years of work experience in the Information Technology and/or Banking & Finance sector.
  • Fluent in excel, hands-on experience in SQL and VBA.
  • Knowledge of coding platforms like C, Java, Python.
  • Basic understanding of banking products like Equity Derivatives, Loans, Deposits, Credit Cards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills along with stakeholder management.
