Finance Controller - Pharmaceuticals (7-11 Yrs)

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure financial controls manage cash flows, and monitor debtors and institutional funds.
2. Design and supervise inventory controls and monitor costing.
3. Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives
4. Design and manage financial planning, delegation of financial powers, budgeting, and forecasting processes
5. Supervise the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis
6. Monitor and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making
8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team
9. Coordinate with external auditors, tax and statutory authorities, and financial institutions
10. Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory and regulatory filings and holding of Board and Shareholders Meetings.
11. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in financial and statutory regulations
12. Implement cost-effective measures to optimize financial performance

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA/ ICWA/ MBA/CPA preferred
2. Proven experience as a Finance Controller in the medical device manufacturing industry
3. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and taxation
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
6. Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work collaboratively
7. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
