AddressMatsze is one-of-a-kind conceptual brand, specialising in designs which allude to the founder's love of mazes. We use elements of intrigue, illusions, chaos, geometry, and wonder to create unique designs. Our first collection is due to be launched in March, and we are looking for an office manager cum Fashion Merchandiser to handle operational tasks.
You would be assigned the following responsibilities:
1. Source fabrics and trims as specified, and maintain relationships with our existing vendors and manufacturers
2. Keep track of production under our sampling and production units
3. Keep track of our expenses and assist our accountant with any paper work
4. Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs are delivered in time to the sampling unit
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to create a marketing strategy and compelling digital content
6. Assist the founder in finding potential investors and partners
7. Assist in recruiting new employees or freelancers as required
8. Assist in any miscellaneous operational tasks as required
9. Provide progress reports to the founder at specified time intervals
About You:
In addition to at least 1 year of work experience in apparel space, you are expected to have the following:
1. You must have excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
2. You must have excellent problem solving skills.
3. You must be proactive, creative and resourceful.
4. You must be an excellent planner and have self management skills.
5. You must be able to work without constant supervision.
6. You must be willing to go above and beyond, as it typically takes to run a startup.
Performance bonus would be considered for the right candidate.
Please note this is not a standard job with limited range of roles and responsibilities. You would be joining a start up, and would be expected to wear a lot of different hats, much like the founder. However, you will *not* be expected to participate in the design process.
