Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Jewellery Operations Manager at Kalon Designs, located in Hyderabad. The Jewellery Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the jewellery department, including inventory management, quality control, production scheduling, and team management. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
A willingness to learn & train other team members to stay on track with the organisation's timelines.
The responsibilities include reporting directly to the Creative director and fulfilling their duties in their absence.
You should be well-versed in internal operations, take minutes at meetings, forward and distribute mail as required, and. prepare and file relevant documents.
Coordinate work with employees and other staff members to ensure that administrative tasks are completed and that the business functions efficiently.
For a Luxury Jewelry industry, Operations assistants will research thoroughly for the Elite business channels we can collaborate with & expand to, can make phone calls to convert them into B to B or B to C business module, document the respective data & complete paperwork needed to go ahead. (Eg - Coordinating MOUs with lawyers to submit to the 3rd parties)
You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Acting as second-in-command to the main manager and taking care of all primary duties to keep the brand functionality active.
Assisting the Creative director with operations of ad campaigns.
Scheduling meetings and team building sessions as required.
Promptly answering the questions of staff and balancing their responsibilities time to time.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes.
Taking inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
Updating logs and order forms.
Analysing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Manager.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Jewellery Operations management or a related field
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
Additional courses in Business Writing and Elocution are advantageous.

Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and quality standards
