Job Description

The Imports and Exports Officer is responsible for managing international shipments and coordinating the movement of goods across borders.

• Prepare and manage import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods
• Verify compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import/export laws and regulations
• Handle communication with government agencies for permits and approvals
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and address customs-related issues
• Track and report shipment status to relevant stakeholders
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation filing
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Stay informed about changes in trade policies and tariffs
