The Event Sales Manager’s primary focus is selling the event space for the Grand Hyatt Seattle, concentrating sales efforts in Banquet Food & Beverage, and Meeting Room Rental. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff, and clients should view the Event Sales Manager as an enthusiastic and passionate expert in the Event Sales field. Responsibilities include: menu planning and agenda setting, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, managing billing instructions and final review. The Event Sales Manager must be able to communicate the services of the hotel to gain commitment from the client.
The salary range for this position is $61,800 to $86,600. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education. This position is eligible for the Sales Incentive Plan.
