The English Teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering instructional material, assessing student progress, and cultivating a love for the English language.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
Classroom Management:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Manage and maintain a conducive atmosphere for learning.
Instructional Delivery:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in English literature and language to students of varying grade levels.
- Utilize multimedia resources, technology, and other innovative tools to enhance the learning experience.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, and other assessment methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents or guardians.
Individualized Support:
- Offer additional support to students who may require extra assistance, ensuring that all learners have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with developments in English education, instructional strategies, and educational technology.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
Parent and Community Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and academic achievements.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events to foster a positive school community.
