About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible fordevelopment, testing, and delivery of software products / projects. You will work in agile environment that adopts DevOps ways of working.

Responsibilities:

• As a full stack engineer you would be working on development of both front end and back-end modules of applicationsdeployed in a cloud environment.

  
  

• You will also focus on scripting activities related to building a DevOps toolchain / CI/CD integration.

  
  

• Working knowledge on various scripting languages is mandatory.

  
  

• Proven expertise as developer in large enterprise platforms that involve multitude of integrations, security and handling large data volumes

  
  

• Understand the process and workflows and adhere to strict quality standards set by AstraZeneca

  
  

Requirements:

• 4+ years of development experience in an enterprise environment 

  
  

• Relevant experience in Lifesciences industry is an added advantage

  
  

• Core Java (>= Java 8), Python, Typescript, Shell

  
  

• Strong experience in Angular, React/Redux Frameworks, NPM, NodeJS, YARN

  
  

• Having good knowledge in Junit 5, Apollo, Jasmine, Mocha, Protractor

  
  

• Experience in creating infrastructure as code (Terraform, cloudformation) on AWS (EKS, Route53, CloudFront, ELB, VPC, IAM, ACM, EC2, AutoScaling, Cognito, SES, SQS, SNS, Lambda, CloudWatch)

  
  

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, EKS etc

  
  

• Experience in AWS and Application SSO integration

  
  

• Experience in integrating DevOps tools stack (GitHub, Jira, Confluence, sonar, AWS, Grafana, Prometheus, )

  
  

• Strong experience in designing and implementing CI/CD

  
  

• Working experience in landscape involving e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Action, Helm

  
  

• Tools – Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, GIT etc.

  
  

• Security Setup for Web Services – OAUTH , Basic Auth etc.

  
  

• Proficiency in cloud-based architectures, preferably in popular cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

  
  

• Good written and oral communication skills
