This position is for a  Software Application Engineer who will be working on core infrastructure and enterprise workflow functionality. This role will be responsible for the design and development of end-to-end features in current and future products, collaborating with business leaders and product managers to build applications that make teams more efficient. This role necessitates a profound comprehension of the ServiceNow platform, encompassing its modules and features. Additionally, a focus on value delivery, problem-solving, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with stakeholders/customers to gather and understand requirements.

  
  

• Design and Develop features for infrastructure and enterprise workflow solutions.

  
  

• Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, forms, and workflows to meet business needs.

  
  

• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications as needed. 

  
  

• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, including design documents.

  
  

• Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and security. Update Manual test scripts and Automated test framework.

  
  

• Recommending modifications to processes and procedures, and contributing to best practices, architecture and implementations

  
  

• Promoting and soliciting ideas within project teams; may lead certain elements of projects

  
  

• Provide support for deployed ServiceNow solutions. Investigate and resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the stability of the platform.

  
  

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field 

  
  

• 6-9 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions on the Servicenow platform.

  
  

• Experience working with Javascript, GlideScripts and Servicenow scripting languages

  
  

• Servicenow Developer Certification is highly desirable.

  
  

• In-Depth Knowledge of IT Service Management(ITSM) processes and best practices.

  
  

• Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering processes, tools, methods, test, development and support

  
  

• Experience with Servicenow integration processes using REST, SOAP and Integration Hub.

  
  

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
