You will be client-facing, responsible for the delivery of our work and making sure it meets our client's expectations. /p ul li Act as cable engineer in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects. /li li Deliver Concept design, FEED, feasibility and Detailed design projects and bids for clients. /li li Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the scope, budget and timescale requirements to the satisfaction of the client. /li li Produce or review the HV cable aspects of different projects including onshore cable projects, offshore export cables and interconnectors. /li li Deliver bids and tenders within tight deadlines as part of a tender team and producing HV cable aspects of technical offers. /li li Attend design review and Hazard review meetings and produce HV cable design packages as required. /li li Attending site visits, FAT and SAT and commissioning as required. /li li Strong communication skills along with teamworking attributes. /li li Customer focused when dealing with customers, identifying their needs along with business development skills. /li li Participation in Industry working groups such as CIGRE, IEEE. /li li Development of external and internal relationships. /li /ul p strong span Mentoring and Development: /span /strong /p p You will provide support and advice to members the team, this may also include line management responsibilities. Atkins focus is on developing our staff to realise their full potential, with development plans geared to individual needs and abilities. /p p strong span Responsibilities: /span /strong /p p Strong conceptualization ability, strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills are a must, including the capability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams.
