Job Title: Electrical Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Omalur, Salem, IndiaExperience Level: 3 - 5 yearsJob Description:As an Electrical Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including High Tension (HT) lines, cranes, and other industrial equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility by conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, and performing necessary repairs.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, HT lines, and industrial cranes to identify potential issues.Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose faults in HT lines and crane systems.Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, or equipment as needed.Conduct electrical testing and measurements to ensure equipment operates within specified parameters.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while working on electrical systems.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address cross-functional issues.Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in Electrical Maintenance.Assist in the procurement of electrical spare parts and equipment.Qualifications:Diploma or trade certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Maintenance, with a focus on HT lines, cranes, and industrial equipment.Possession of a valid C License is mandatory.Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and industrial controls.Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and diagrams.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.Good communication skills and the ability to document maintenance activities.Location:This position is located in Omalur, Salem, India, and will require on-site work at our facility.How to Apply:Qualified candidates with the specified qualifications and experience are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and interest in the position to es@bharatsteels.in.Note: The above job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed.
