We are NOFORM, a Digital Fashion innovation lab based in Bengaluru, India. With a profound interest in and concern for the current state of the fashion industry, we actively seek answers to some pivotal questions, such as the future prospects of designers and industry professionals, adaptation to emerging technologies, and the necessary updates to design education in a digital and augmented world.
We extend an invitation for applications from passionate and tech-savvy students or recent graduates to join our Digital Fashion Design Apprenticeship Program (2024). Through this program, we aim to meet the evolving needs of the fashion industry and underscore the growing significance of digital skills. In the midst of a significant digital transformation and increasing integration of technology in design and production processes, the program encompasses aspects of computer-aided design (CAD), 3D modeling, virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance efficiency and. creativity.
The fashion industry today requires professionals who comprehend the digital landscape. Addressing the imperative need for skill development among the youth in India, the program offers practical training in digital skills, augmenting employability prospects and preparing individuals to effectively navigate and compete in the global fashion market.
Apprentice Profile
A student that is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on fashion, product, or industrial design. Recent graduates eager for hands-on experience are also encouraged to apply.
The candidate demonstrates proficiency in spatial awareness with a deep understanding of form, scale, and proportion. Exceptional visual aesthetics and a meticulous eye for detail and quality are essential.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is required. Familiarity with 3D programs like Browzwear, Clo3D, and Style3D is considered advantageous.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling interaction at a professional level, are required.
