JOB SUMMARY
- The optimal candidate will be a graduate mechanical engineer with 3 to 8 years of engineering function experience in the valve industry or a related subject.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.Â
- Should have understanding of required technical specifications in accordance to ISO, EN, ASME and DIN standards.
Key Requirement: Should have worked in Valve industry. Experienced candidates on Solidworks, Draftsight would be preferred.

Responsibilities
- Draw, update, and maintain designs
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
- The ability to create GADs (General Arrangement Drawing) and manufacturing drawings using designing softwares.
- Understanding valve specifications and supporting design reviews.
- Create fresh engineering systems and procedures.
- Create product models and drawings 2D/3D with Solidworks for Part Design, Assembly Design & Sketch.
- Retest if necessary after analysing prototype data.
- Analyze fresh product concepts and techniques.
- Enhance current products and procedures and participate in the process of product design.
- To ensure that the industry's safety regulations are being followed.
- Keep up-to-date records (GAD, MPR, other fixed and adhoc-reporting)
- Making, reviewing, and promptly releasing the material specification sheet.
- Technical interface with internal and external personnel
- ensuring that the company can produce its products according to the necessary quality standards, specifications, cost, and efficiency
- Wherever necessary, maintain rationalisation and limit product variety (value engineering)
- BOM Codes are checked, verified, and promptly released.
- Examining and releasing component drawings on time.
- To make sure designs are suitable for fabrication and use, coordinate with internal and external customers.
- Make careful to develop components that are affordable.
- Keep abreast on current technological and product advances.
- Support design and drawing for domestic and international customer requests
- assume responsibility for all engineering efforts relating to customer orders in India
- Check the fundamental technical data check list that the sales department has provided.
- Produce production drawings that include any necessary tolerances.
- Utilizing an ERP platform, prepare codes and BOM for customer orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree from recognised Institute/University.
- 2-5 yrs. of related Design Engineering experience.
- Should have knowledge of mechanical design and strengths of materials.
- CAD experience
- Proficient in Solidworks
- Strong organisational and communication skills
