Address- Monitoring fraud trends, investigating emerging threats and quickly developing and deploying new strategies to manage those threats
- Providing innovative solutions for formation/strengthening of Fraud Risk tools for prevention, detection and monitoring of frauds.
- Review existing control environment and assess effectiveness against known fraud schemes. Identify control gaps and create insightful analysis to support the implementation of new controls
- Oversees and conducts the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions. Need to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize work, and remain functional under pressure, and aggressive timelines.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team of operational agents, fraud solution developers, Data Analysts/scientists, business insight analysts, subject matter experts
- Develop complex technical rules/scenarios to maximize the effectiveness of fraud detection and prevention programs. Analyse fraud detection alerts and assess need for further investigation
- Research / Survey activity regarding Fraud and Risk
- Analytics related to claims/Dashboard reporting/Presentation Department/Content writing/Framework preparation
- Projection / Budget calculations for the AOP/LRP
- Collecting information on the Global trends and Innovations in investigations
- Department audits. Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques, interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and provide ongoing reports
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing BO reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct the problems
- Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key decisions.
- Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling, visualization and communication deliverables.
- Collate and maintain the ILM tracker and share reports with the team and function heads periodically
- Prepare customized reports as per the business requirements
- Coordinate with the IT MIS team for data reports;
- Automate and standardize regular reports and train the ILM team members to ensure correct data entry on the ILM Checkers module
People Management
- Oversees the activities of the Data Analyst personnel and ensures the efficient execution of their duties.
- Liaise with external vendors for data analytics services; conduct POC (proof of concept) assessments, determine the ROI on the service and recommend to the function head
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics
Mandatory Skills:Good Knowledge of SAS, R, SQL, Tableau, Python, MS Excel, Hadoop Platform and SQL database/coding
Desirable Skills:Overall experience 4+ years as a Data Analyst and Scientist.
Education/Qualification:B.E(Engineering degree), Postgraduate (Management Degree) , Professional education in Data Analytics
