What you’ll do
Produce regular categorization monitoring to ensure the Open Banking categorization engine is accurate, up to date and market leading - Consumer & Commercial including both Current Accounts and Credit Cards. Make suitable recommendations to enhance the engine and manage the changes through testing and release to production
Make appropriate and timely updates to the categorization decision tree originating from client queries and suggested amendments
Respond to client queries originating from the dashboard or API portal in a timely and professional manner considering live Open Banking products
Support Client Analytics (D&A) with ‘Categorization as a Service’ data jobs/requests and Open Banking retros for client assessment and internal analytical purposes. Own and update relevant retro code that is aligned to production code
Test and provide quality assurance towards the release of new analytical Open Banking products from user acceptance to production environments
Ensure the client facing Open Banking ‘Analyst Guide’ and similar (e.g. data dictionaries) is kept up to date as and when changes are made and new products released
Provide analytical soundbites and statistics towards ‘goto market’ collaterals, marketing campaigns, etc.
Produce regular thought provoking management information considering Open Banking products that considers categorization data quality, trends, issues & risks
Support the Data Scientists in developing new characteristics primarily utilizing transactional data that are highly predictive or deliver commercial value to the Equifax business
What experience you need
2+ years experience of working in a data and analytics environment
Highly numerate with a relevant UK degree 2:1 or above (or international equivalent)
Day to day exposure to large/complex datasets, analytical tools, spreadsheets, analytical platforms, specifications, etc.
Able to extract data from multiple platforms and create master datasets towards meeting the key responsibilities of the role
Use of relevant analytical tooling on a day-to-day basis e.g. Python, SAS, BigQuery, Jupyter Notebook, SQL, etc.
A team player, effective communicator with the ability to work unsupervised
Experience of working with and analyzing Current Account Open Banking transactional data
Experience of working with credit bureau data (UK or internationally)
Day to day use of G-Suite tooling, GCP and VertexAI
Statistical model development experiences e.g. credit risk scores, affordability scores, fraud scores, etc.
Working experience of Equifax global platforms - Data Fabric, AE, AME, GME, Ignite Internal
Experience of developing AI/ML based solutions and model
Experience of working in a product development environment
Experience with standard product testing procedures (UAT, OAT, regression, etc.)
Adoption of champion/challenger approaches and techniques
