Position Description
Rockwell Automation is seeking a Security Architect,responsible for designing, operating, and supporting theNetwork and Perimeter team, within the Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering function. The Security Architect is responsible for supportingthe vision for the security architecture program, security functions, andstandards. The Security Architect is responsible for defining security capabilities to protect company information assets that is supported by the cyber strategy and roadmap. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders in support of the organizationand be an advocate for the cybersecurity controls and enabling the business. This role requires a critical thinker, leadership, and the ability to adapt quickly to the known information and be able to take ownership of decisions.
We are looking for
Regularly partnering with the business and Digital teams to understand their strategic objectivesandgoals, technology needs, and emerging trends
Provide technical guidance for designing security capabilities in a cloud and traditional MSP/outsourced IT environment.
Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Architecture team to design and implement enterprise security capabilities into solution architecture.
Experience in perimeter network security design is a plus – WAN/SD-WAN, LAN/WiFi.
Experience in network security including with various network security tools and technologies.
Specific experience managing Zscaler, Forescout, and Claroty.
Participates in major new system implementation projects to ensure that appropriate security controls are built into systems prior to production cutover.
Contribute to cybersecurity roadmap development for enterprise-level systems and ensure alignment with overall security strategy.
Drives process improvement and control implementation projects in coordination with the larger Digital Technology team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 8-10 years of experience within Information Security, in a highly regulated business, with proven ability to manage conflict, provide leadership, organize, and make decisions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Business, Risk Management, Finance, Statistics or other related field.
Certifications in CISSP/CISM/CRISC/PMP a plus.
Leadership and adaptability when facing unique challenges encountered to effectively work with individuals in diverse cultures and business environments.
Strong work ethic and a proactive mindset with ability to think “outside of the box” to solve problems.
Proven ability to work independently and in a multi-tasking environment with strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills.
Track record of managing work to achieve milestones on time and within budget in a fast-paced environment.
