AddressR&D Services Analyst - Battery
We are looking to fill the position of an Analyst - Energy Storage Technologies who will be responsible for helping our clients with designing of low and medium Li ion battery packs, set up manufacturing and testing facilities.
Role and responsibilities:
- Performance evaluation of different cells from different suppliers
- Evaluate different battery pack designs for customers
- Convert client requirement into battery pack design
- Develop battery pack drawings on CREO or similar tools
- Develop test plans for performance evaluation of cells, BMS and battery packs
- Develop prototype from conceptualization stage
- Develop manufacturing plan as per the required design of the battery packs
- Evaluate thermal stability of designs and prototypes
Required Skills:
- Experience in developing battery packs preferably for 2W and Stationary applications
- Experience of working on design software
- Battery pack testing
- Attention to detail is essential
- The candidate should have excellent planning and time management skills
- The candidate must possess a scientific bent of mind and excellent analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for discussion with other team members as well as with clients.
- Experience in working on EV drive trains and designs
Instrumentation skills:
- Battery testing (Neware, Ador, etc.)
- Designing (CREO, CAD, etc.)
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics is preferred
- Min 3 years' experience in Battery pack manufacturing, development, R&D
