Our condition monitoring teams use their knowledge, skills, and abilities to interpret the 5 elements of condition monitoring (fluid analysis, equipment inspections, electronic data, repair history, and site conditions) and provides meaningful insights as to what is happening on the equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Caterpillar dealers with relevant recommendations to generate high quality sales leads and help customers manage their business more effectively. This will improve customer loyalty, increase enterprise market share, and grow parts and service sales, while reducing the customer's costs through equipment management efficiency.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Aggregate and correlate the five elements of condition monitoring (where all are available) to provide meaningful insights as to what is happening on the equipment.
Maintain working knowledge for each of the condition monitoring five elements with subject matter expertise in at least 1 element.
Participates in ongoing meetings with Caterpillar dealers and subject matter experts to gain knowledge and insights to increase accuracy of the data analysis and quality of recommendations/leads.
Provide information for equipment management lead tracking and resolution
Assists with Preparing reports regularly to be distributed to Caterpillar dealers detailing financial outcomes and key CM KPIs for CMA recommendations.
Communicate verbal recommendations as required Caterpillar dealers.
Build collaborative relationships & act as a consultant with equipment management personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
5-6 years of experience in the product support and/or engineering fields
A college or university degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in condition(health) monitoring
Experience of using multiple software/business systems to gather data
Proficient in MS office with strong emphasis on MS excel or other analytics tools
Performed data analysis and correlation on sets of data
Able to deduce and draw conclusions from the analyzed data
Sound technical ability in servicing/repair of construction equipment, diagnostics tools, data analysis to aide fault finding
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Understanding of Engine/Heavy Equipment performance and systems
Strong interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive, emotional, or potentially charged situations
Strong execution ability
Experience of working with remote connected assets or fleet telematics
Familiarity with J1939 diagnostic standard and its application
Good communication skills
Good Team interaction skill
Is a self-motivator and driven for results
