Job Overview

 

TE Connectivity's Customer Service Teams interact with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions. They take and process transactions via phone, internet and correspondence from customers and representatives and respond to inquiries about TE’s products or services. They may promote and sell our company's products or services as well as investigate and resolve customer complaints. A key area of focus is to develop strong business relationships via TE's Extraordinary Customer Experience strategy.

Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure quotations / proposals meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain databases for all the RFQ’s received and quoted in order to monitor and track quote performance metrics,
  • Administration of digital signatory certificates (DSC) and customer web procurement portals (GeM / BEL / HAL / ISRO / etc…)
  • Handle RFQ’s from various web portals of Government customers, RFQ’s from private customers and screening of RFQ’s.
  • Coordinate with pricing team for on time pricing.
  • Gathering and compilation of necessary documents for on time tender submission.
  • Coordinate and facilitate RFQ / proposal review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • analyzing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement.•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales,
  • filed application, engineering, operations and subject matter experts to
  • analyze and submit the proposals.
  • Willing to work in flexible hours to ensure submission of bids.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, customers and partners involved in the quotation process.

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / business administration
  • 2 to 6 years of experience in handling quotations / pre order activities.
  • Hands on experience in Govt procurement (Preferable defense sector) / tender processes and regulations,
  • Proficiency in using pricing tools (Ecommerce, SAP, etc…) and MS Office.
  • Basic knowledge in passive components (Connectors, Wire & Cable, Relays, etc…)
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in quotation preparation.
  • Should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Should be good in maintaining documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
