Education: BE / B. Tech - Civil Engg.
Job Location: Mumbai - Powai
Majorly looking for candidates who have worked in EHV Substations.
Key skills:
- Civil Engineering from an EPC Background.
- Candidate must have executed min 2 to 3 projects from start to handover)
Role & responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the entire construction related activities at project site.
- To be responsible for documenting all process active as per company policy and requirement.
- To prepare construction plans & schedule for monitoring progress.
- To manage risks and other site issues.
- To resolve site issues pertaining to construction.
- To be responsible for all material at site, its storage, inventory and issuance.
- To appropriately certify contractor bills.
A. Quality & Safety:
- To ensure good quality, safety and speed at sites.
- To monitor and standardize specifications on all site works.
- To keep a track of the ISO checklist, bar charts, progress reviews, safety meetings, contractors and consultant meetings, stock and store registers.
- To be responsible for monitoring safety aspects in construction more specifically high-rise construction
B. Coordination:
- To coordinate with various agencies, contractors, HO Team and other relevant departments to ensure smooth working at site.
- To coordinate with Architecture for timely receipt of GFC drawings & design changes.
- To coordinate with Liaison through Project Head for approvals.
C. Man Management:
- To conduct fortnightly/ weekly meetings at site - with site team, architects, structural consultants and other consultants.
- To review the site team on quarterly basis and assign KRA / Big Five.
- To approve the performance of the site team and also undertake time-to-time review on the performance and quality of works.
- To review the performance of Vendors / Contractors and monitor performance & quality including assessment of Vendors / Contractors.
D. Site Related:
- To participate in project review meetings onsite for tracking project progress.
- To keep abreast of construction updates as well as trends in the construction market on an ongoing basis.
- To visit RUPL Projects and other competitors sites to remain updated on technical and modern technologies.
E. MIS:
- To have absolute control over the site logistics and optimum utilization of spaces within site for storage, labor, safe movement of man & material both vertical and horizontal & Traffic movements
- To prepare MIS / SAP report on monthly basis as required for Project Review.
- To carry out other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.
