The Position

For this exciting opportunity, we are seeking candidates with proven successful Commercial Leadership within multinational pharmaceutical (or health care) companies, aspirational and ethical mindset, strong business acumen.


A unique opportunity to:


  • lead a growing health care company in India with a diversified business including products marketed by inhouse teams, products marketed by commercial partners and contracts for public programs
  • lead a launch of life saving health care device
  • partner with government and non-government stakeholders to ensure that the women and patient, who needs our products, will have access to them

Responsibilities:


The Commercial Director is the most senior company representative in India. Reporting directly to the role is the commercial organization of approx. 30 team members with additional +50 Organon employees situated in India.


Among the focus area are:  


  • Lead the commercial organization to deliver on ambitious P&L objectives.
  • In collaboration with the SEA Alliance Team Leads oversee partnerships in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with SEA Cluster teams and be active part of the SEA Cluster Leadership Team.
  • Ensure an exceptional company culture driven by our purpose and ethical standards.
  • The Commercial director is expected to embody our values: Be Real, We All Belong, Bring Your Fire, Own It, Rise Together, Keep Moving.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:


  • Track record of leading sizeable team teams to excel within multinational pharmaceutical (or health care) companies
  • Master’s Degree within relevant specialty
  • Experience with Market Access and/or Policy engagements
  • Thrive with complexity and ambiguity
  • Strategic and aspirational mindset as well as attention to detail
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Strong understanding of India’s health care system as well as international experience
  • Fluent in English
