CNC Turning Operator

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Selected Candidates will be deployed in Multitasking lathe, Turning Centre & Turn mill centre at Gram Trang, Bhubaneswar. He/She will be responsible for handling complete Turning Section
• Plans machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Sets-up lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Basic Qualification required -

1. Three years of relevant experience in Diploma (Mechanical Engineering) or Six years of relevant experience in ITI Machinist

2. Passed out DTDM Students are also eligible to apply

3. Must have knowledge in Siemens & Heidenhain controller
