Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Cloud Engineer at Datanitiv in Vadodara, Gujarat. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

- Optimize Security and Performance: Implement best practices to keep cloud environments safe and running smoothly.
- Streamline with Automation: Simplify deployment processes to save time and boost efficiency using automation.
- Resolve Issues Efficiently: Troubleshoot and fix cloud-related problems promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Stay Updated and Improve: Keep an eye on new cloud tech, sharing insights for continuous improvement.
- Support as Needed: Be available to handle incidents promptly, rotating on-call duties as required.
- Document for Clarity: Contribute to clear documentation for system setup and procedures to aid understanding and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience needed :
- Bachelor's Degree: Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cloud Engineering Expertise: Demonstrate proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, specializing in major platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience supporting cloud infrastructure.
Skills and Attributes needed :
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management: Possess a strong understanding of IaC principles and proficiency with configuration management tools.
- Experience with server-less infrastructure setup.
- Scripting Proficiency: Excel in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks.
- Networking, Security, and Cloud Best Practices: Have an in-depth knowledge of networking, security, and best practices in cloud environments.
- Containerization Technologies: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
- CI/CD and Version Control: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect).
