About the role:
As a Cloud Data Platform Administrator, you will collaborate with architects, vendors, and tenants to design, deploy, and manage cutting-edge cloud data platforms. Your responsibilities include responding to tenant work orders, troubleshooting platform issues, and participating in an on-call rotation. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing automation strategies for optimal efficiency and scalability. Ensuring consistent performance, security, and availability across our global clients' tenants is paramount. Additionally, you'll oversee platform costs and implement automated data backup and recovery strategies.
Secondary Tasks:
- Stay updated on global medical device standards.
- Provide training on platform best practices.
- Assess emerging tools and technologies for efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Snowflake and AWS tools (S3, Athena, Lake Formation)..
- 3 years' experience in cloud platform administration.
- Strong understanding of SQL, global database management, and data regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in DevOps with a focus on automation and scale.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in Snowflake or AWS.
- Database Administration experience.
- Expertise in managing multi-tenant platforms globally.
- Knowledge of data privacy standards in medical device and healthcare sectors.
- Agile environment experience with adaptability.
